As we grow, we are looking forward to the perfect space for larger classes in Adelaide. At present we feel 6 is the perfect number for easy to run, high-quality classes. YOU benefit from small group tuition. We have created a little sanctuary in this space. One simple reason we like it here, is that this space is always perfectly heated and cooled. It's beautifully cosy in winter, and fresh and airy in summer. We also have wall space for everyone (for fine-tuning poses), complimentary tea, and other comforts such as regularly-washed blankets! These classes are amazingly priced with the benefits of more personal attention, adjustments and a fine-tuned practice of Yoga. Booking is a must, as we only accept 6 per class!

At Alight, we pick up on how you are feeling and lead a sequence that is a perfect fit; gentler pose are often included at the beginning or end to ease us into practice.
Warm up with Hatha, Rev up with Vinyasa, and fine tune with props

Stretch & re-condition connective tissue including: fascia, tendons, ligaments, cartilage, joints, joint capsules and bones.
Simple floor poses we hold poses from 3-5 mins, often using props. In Yise our intuition to create a safe space in poses. As it is in Yin it is less push, more allowing and slow unfolding. The stillness of Yin guides us inwards towards our "inner body" or spirit self. It is a truly beautiful practice. The poses focus on energising specific meridians, bringing about a state of balance, understanding .and awarenesss. At Alight, we begin with gentle movement to awaken the chi/prana in the body. We also suggest suitable affirmations, visualisations and breathing practices (pranayama). We close the class with meditation

Beginners - advanced
Gently energise & activate your body with suitable options for all. Hatha Surya Namaskar to warm-up, plenty of floor poses, not many standing poses, and poses galore with metaphysical benefits. A balanced sequence to activate and gently stretch all muscles. Using props frequently to rest the body, and including a restorative pose or two and a long Savasana. Includes easy breathing exercises and simple meditation. This practice will get you into the flow of your greatest good!
